I've been using different shower filters for many years now. Living in Los Angeles, the water quality is pretty terrible and the chlorine content is particularly high. My old ShowerSoft filter was ok, but just wasn't cutting it and my skin was getting so dry and irritated. So I did a LOT of research before settling on the Vita Fresh Filter. Super easy to instal, unlike many shower filters. I noticed the difference with my skin after literally one shower. Zero chlorine smell and the water felt softer. I found myself wanting to take gulps of the shower water (what am I, a puppy?!) it was so fresh!
