I have very hard water due to being well water. I decided to give this Deluxe Sediments Shower Filter a try. It arrived in a timely fashion and packaged well. Since I am not handy, my boyfriend took on the job of installing it. I did assist in the process. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I actually think I could have done this on my own. My water in my home has a lot of lime. It takes its toll on your skin and hair. This filter will remove fine impurities such as lime, rust and bacteria. I was anxious to give it a try. My shower water actually felt cleaner. And my hair was the proof. After blow drying it , typically feels very course and not a lot of shine. Shampooing with the filter on made a big difference. My hair felt silky, not as heavy and was shiny. I was already sold on this product. I also noticed my shampoo and my soap lathered more as a result of this filter. It comes with three replacement filters. This is a small but powerful filter just as the brochure claims.
